DAY ONE
Depart Port Elizabeth at 09h00. Picnic lunch in Mpofu Game
Reserve. Afternoon game drive. Visit the Post Retief British Army
Barrocks national monument and be embraced by the atmosphere of
life of a British soldier in the days of South Africa’s frontier
wars. Overnight in an old restored Settler homestead in Post
Retief. |

DAY TWO
Drive onto the northern slopes of the Winterberg mountains to
Redcliffe private guest farm for lunch and to overnight. After
lunch the more energetic can climb the Winterberg Peak or we will
visit Paradise point and the Gorge for late afternoon viewing.
Wine and dine a scrumptious home cooked meal. |

DAY THREE
Depart for the Tsolwana game reserve for some san rock art viewing
and game drive. Picnic lunch and afternoon game drive before
relaxing around the campfire and enjoying a traditional South
African “ Braai “ for dinner. |

DAY FOUR
Drive the Winterberg high road with wonderful views as we wind
down one of South Africa’s famous road builder, Thomas Bains’s
Katberg Pass to the Katberg Hotel. Spend the afternoon walking in
the forest, relaxing or even being pampered at the Katberg Hotel
Spa. |

DAY FIVE
Depart for Port Elizabeth via the 1820 settler town of Bathurst
and Port Alfred for lunch. Arrive Port Elizabeth at 17h00 |
